It's the Taylor Show
Yesterday, Taylor wanted to be in charge of Family Home Evening and she wanted to do it all by herself. She wanted to plan everything and run the whole show so we let her go with it to find out what she would come up with. Well, this is how our evening went. We started out singing My Eternal Family, which is a new primary song they are learning, and of course is the girls new favorite. Then she wanted to play this church related Bingo game we have. Afterwards is when it turned into the 'Taylor Show'. She had on this leotard and tights that her cousin gave her, (she had it on since about 9:00 that morning and woke up this morning and put it on again). Anyway, she started to put on a tumbling "gymnastics according to Taylor" display that turned into a ballet recital and then into a partner dance/stunt routine where she used her sister as the partner. She wanted to continue all night but we had to cut her off at some point in order to enjoy the ice cream sandwiches. We ended with the primary song 'When Joseph went to Bethlehem' which at first she called it 'When Joseph Smith went to Bethlehem'. She thought is was hilarious when she realized what she said. Anyway, that song is a Christmas song but we love to hear her sing it because she still says "...in a little women sack" instead of "...in a little linen sack". So, that was our FHE according to Taylor. She loves the spotlight and loves to be in charge so our evening reflected her personality perfectly. She says she is already planning her routine for the next time she gets to "perform". (It's not like she doesn't perform for us everyday anyway). Kids you gotta love them!

Gotta love that girl. It sounds like she did a really good job though.
