Transfer
Last week John was transferred from the SLC Deseret Book to the one up here in Layton. For now it is a blessing. He will actually be making a little more money and his commute went from about 1 hour to 10 minutes (less if he hits green lights and clear streets). With this baby coming in a few months I was worried he would get stuck in SLC and wouldn't make it home in time for the birth. Now, I don't have to worry. He would eventually like to get back to the downtown store after all the construction is done and they are settle in their permanent location. We will see what the future holds. For now, this is a good move and we are excited to see how things play out. John's just ecstatic that he can sleep in a little longer in the mornings. That is unless he decides to join the mall walkers at 7:30 every morning (the store is in the Layton mall). Can you imagine John speed walking with all the old ladies!? Maybe he could make some new friends and turn on his salesman charms to bring in new costumers. I have a feeling though, that he will be enjoying his extra 45 minutes of sleep every morning.
